This website has been designed for use in the United Kingdom, under the laws of England and Wales.
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as purchasing from our site means you agree with them. For the clarification of doubt, references to 'us', 'we' or 'our' below relate to Ellie Carlisle Gifts. References to 'you' reference the purchaser of goods or services and the viewer of this website. The 'website' in reference to: https//www.elliecarlislegifts.co.uk
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account.
The contract becomes binding when we confirm that we have accepted your order.
We have taken every care to describe our products fairly, and that prices quoted are in pounds (£) sterling and inclusive of V.A.T, are correct at the time of publishing.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 (fourteen) working days of receipt of your order. To exercise this right, please see our returns and refunds section (below).

Returns and Refunds Policy
If, for any reason you decide not to keep an item, you can return it for a refund:
IN ALL CASES, please email us at email@example.com, or write to Mallard Cottage, 57c Main Street, Wheldrake, York. YO19 6AB, or you may use the Cancellation Form provided (download here), but the use of the form is not obligatory. Contact us within 14 (fourteen) working days of receipt of goods.
Non-faulty items must be returned, at the customers own expense, with their original packaging and must be in an unused condition.
Please note that proof of posting is NOT proof of receipt. You are liable for the goods until they are delivered to us in good (fit for resale) condition.
We strongly advise you to use Royal Mail Special Delivery or other insured and tracked delivery service for this purpose in order to be sure that any goods are returned safely to us.
The Royal Mail Special Delivery service is available from any Post Office and provides a guaranteed next working day delivery, with a signed receipt, plus insurance of £100 at a reasonable cost.
The full cost of the item, plus the initial outgoing postal charges will be refunded within 14 days of receipt of goods. To exercise this right, goods must be returned within 28 days of receipt.
Your payment can be made by PayPal's secure gateway. Payment is made subject to the gateway terms and conditions and dealt with by PayPal or the secure WorldPay payment gateway.
Secure Encrypted Payment
Please note that you can shop online with confidence knowing that your card details will not be accessible to Ellie Carlisle Gifts, as your details are encrypted and dealt with by PayPal or WorldPay.
You do not need an account to purchase with PayPal - just present your credit/debit cards to PayPal and they will process your invoice for you. WorldPay accept Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Credit and Visa Electron.

Data collected on this site is used to:
a). Take and fulfill customers orders.
b). Administer the site and enhance the site and service.
c). Only to disclose information to third parties for goods delivery purposes.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Ellie Carlisle Gifts
ORDERS NOT RECEIVED
If you do not receive an item then we reserve the right to ask you to wait 15 working days (Monday to friday excluding Bank holidays) before we re-dispatch the item. But we would appreciate you alerting us after 5 working days as in the case of the 'signed for' items where we can check that it's not been delivered to a neighbour etc.
Please also contact your local sorting office, even if a card has not been left, to check that they are not holding your item.
Ellie Carlisle Gifts will dispatch your item to the delivery address you entered at the checkout. We cannot be held responsible if an incorrect address or post code has been supplied. We cannot be held responsible if no one is available to sign for your item when it arrives and you fail to arrange a re-delivery directly with the carrier (Royal Mail or Parcel Force) who will leave instructions for doing this. If an item is returned to Ellie Carlisle Gifts under these circumstances we will charge you the additional costs to re dispatch.
